its summer... that's why!

So................. this is what our playroom has looked like since friday! The girls have been so busy building, creating and hauling the necessities into the fort,
plus they each have their own rooms in it!
As a mom who likes things tidy with everything in its spot, it has taken every ounce of control to not fold it ALL up myself and then be a GRUMP about it!
But they love it and they are so proud of it.
Every time Mandy comes over she has yet another blanket or something for the fort...........
I wonder if Shannon is missing anything yet???? hmmmmmm~
They have umbrellas of many sizes, blankets and towels..... masking tape to hold it all together! Then the essentials go in with them: GameBoy DS, IPODS, stacks & stacks of BOOKS, mad libs, American Girl Dolls and Barbies.
Jordi even brought her Speech folder in her room! :)
I am sure i missed something but you get the point....
My ONE RULE for them was that they have to use the pool towels that have already been used, since we have a pool there are usually 5-7 hanging on our hooks outside (jeff's creation).
So no getting into the linen closet or towel basket that i just folded!!
& of course no food, thats all i need is a rat coming in.....
I'd have to get that shovel out again! hahaheehee, right Nyla???

Saturday Night while Jordi had a sleepover next door, Mandy & Cami got to live the dream and sleep in their creation!!
The fort extends out to the left too......the whole length of the garage, oh yeah babee no space wasted!
When is summer over?? jk I love it.. when else can you have fun like this..
 childhood is the BEST!
hope your summer is equally as exciting!

Love the fort! Now when my kids want to build a fort I'll just send them over to your place. Oh wait...I already did that today :-) Thanks again. Celia had a great time!
