Guys Poker Night for Jeff's 40th was tonight Sept 15th!!
I invited 40 guys.. I think 25 showed up for the celebration, Chipotle, Poker & Drinks!!
They did actually play poker.. my brother was the BIG winner! Yeah for Noelle, hope you get to shop without kids!
But actually my Dad was really winning but had zero vertical minutes left and probably noddded off in a hand or two.
What a fun night for Jeff! His business partners, whom are also close friends... both dads and my brother....great friends we see monthly and some whom we would love to see more but havent lately came to celebrate Jeff and friendship and just have a guy night!! I love it!! I love hearing the stories and jokes... even though I half listened I love that Jeff has such great friends!
So the party...
I had sooo much fun decorating... planning the menu..drinks and all.. but my last decision was the best final addition. A friend of mine, started a new business recently designing exceptional cupcakes for events.... so I ordered themed cupcakes from her and they were amazing in looks and taste! Watchout Sprinkles.. here she comes... "Once Upon a Cupcake"

I was not home during the party, this was men only... I worked the K-EARTH concert with Shan.. another good concert money night for us!!
3 poker tables were set up on the patio (thanks to Doug, Brad and Debbie)
Chipotle burritos and tacos... open bar.... they ended up in the pool oh and so did I.. thanks to Tom Crider!

Jeff's actual birthday is Thursday Sep 20th.. he shares his day with his mom who will gracefully turn 60. To celebrate again we will be in Vegas from Wed-Sun with the kids and Hamen family.

Looks like the guys had a great time! Thanks for inviting Mike, sorry he couldn't make it. PS-it looks like the cupcakes were a huge hit...even with the wildlife (you have to enlarge the picture to see what I mean...hehe). Anyway, how fun. I'll have to remember this theme for a party for my man.
