I still remember that horrible uniform color.... how high was I in the air? Do you think I liked soccer or just the photo or maybe I had just scored a goal! (We lived in Palm Springs.. can you see how dry it is.. YUCK!! I love the OC!
My kindergarten shot....cracks me up... apparently I must not have been happy that morning.. was it the dress? who wouldn't be happy with a Princess Lea folder!? hahaha.. well I will have to ask my mom.

.. it's that time again. Time to go back to school.... back to soccer.. back to bedtimes... making dinner every night.... waking up early working all day....no more long summer nights or warm weather. I want to enjoy my girls in this moment now just as they are. Not anticipating the future but enjoying it all.. the fighting the giggling the playing the grumpy faces on those random school days...
Another fall is almost here... a new school year with new faces to teach and to learn from....Football season, long sleeved shirts, hot cocoa and popcorn on a cold night... much appreciated weekends... and the holiday season!
I said it before I'll say it again...I love my girls. I love watching Jeff be the amazing daddy that he is. I dont want it to change... but I know time marches on... the days are sometimes long but the years are way toooo short!
My Utmost for His Highest is my goal this year as a wife and as mommy!

I feel you on the end of summer blues, but there are many things I love about fall and winter too. Thanks for reminding me.
