Favorite Time of the Day!

It's Friday morning at 8:14 am and all is quiet here in my house.
Cami and Jordyn are still sleeping along with friend Mandy. Amber and Ashley, Shannon's 16 year old twins are here too.
I love the morning! The air is crisp, the coffee smells so good. There are so many things I look forward to doing at this time of day, not knowing when it will end each morning I cherish each extra minute I am given!

I have learned this year just how fragile life is, oh i knew this already but I have been face to face with the realities that I feel so blessed and at peace to know where I am going when God calls me home.
With the loss of our good friend & Shannon's husband, John. It has been 7 months and just can't grasp that he isnt here with us anymore. The only comfort I can find in my sweet friend's family losing their Daddy & Husband is that John is praising the Lord in Heaven. I know he has found a bench and he is "waiting" patiently for his family to fulfill all God's plans and and John's dreams for each one of them.

My daughter Jordyn, my 5 year old is still rattled by the horrific accident that occurred this past spring where the 3 tiny and precious children lost their lives at Crown Valley Parkway. she prays for them often and my heart still aches for the mom and dad that have to face each day without their beautiful children. But just as He gives He takes away too, we have to be prepared daily by giving each moment to God and living life to glorify Him in every way word and deed, plus Loving family and friends today not tomorrow.. we may not have another chance to appreciate love and to forgive.
I think finding a way to heal and go on without our loved ones is the greatest challenge for people on earth.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5
