March 7, 2008: Our 10th Anniversary!

Jeff is so thoughtful and romantic! He took the day off on the 7th to make sure all that

 he had planned would go smoothly. First, he looked up the traditional anniversary 

gifts and then took 1-10 and he went out to Target.. he purchased a small token to

 represent each gift in the years since we've been together.

He wrote me the sweetest letter which was year 1: paper

year 2: cotton: rounds (like balls but rounds)

#3 Leather: a journal.. which we started last night with our goals for the next ten years.

#4 Flowers: 4 Red Roses

#5 Wood: ???

#6 Candy: My favorite gum: Orbit Sweet Mint

#7 Copper: Coppertone

#8 Bronze: Bronzer

#9 Pottery: Herb garden in a pottery dish

and #10 Aluminum 4 starbuck iced coffees

The Real gift was a pair of Earrings and a diamond necklace with three hearts... 

which Jordi said represented her and Cami and Mommy and Daddy was the chain. 

(Jeff helped her a little with the chain logic..)

We went to 5 Crowns in CdM, which is where we were married. 

The Prime Rib was yummy and the souffle was amazing but the company was the BEST! 

We had such a wonderful night together. But apparently he was not done surprising me... 

when we returned home at 9:30... we walked in and the mantel, 

kitchen counter & night stand in our room and coffee table were lit up with candles 

and a dozen Red Roses.. then out on the patio.. more candles on the table 

and around the spa with rose pedals floating the spa & strewn on our bed! 

It was like a movie sooooo romantic!
