and then again this past weekend in Las Vegas with his mom turning 60 on the same day!!...

September ? 1996.... He was 28 and I was 23. It was his first day he started work at Ruby's Laguna Hills as the GM.. and I had just graduated college... not sure what direction I was to go next and in walked my future! Except I did not know it at first, but I knew there was something different about this manager. It was onion day that day... the cooks were cutting onions before the store opened... and our eyes were tearing up.. I went over to him and the other managers and handed them toothpicks... oops that was supposed to be wooden match sticks. But it worked he took those toothpicks and held them between his lips.. and thought I was a little nuts but oh sooo cute! the rest is history!
He asked me out in November.. I said no... but I wanted to go out with him so much! I just knew if I went out with my boss, I would get hurt.. so I played hard to get for the next 2 months and finally in January we had our first date.... and from there we knew.. my parents knew..everyone around us knew! I love you Jeff!

Hope 2nd Dad had a great Bday and super fun in Vegas!!! Wow Cami is alllll him! So funny how that works - Jordi is so much like you :} I'm not sure who got the short end of the stick - hee hee.
Jeff is such a cutie. The one that says "5" in the corner looks just like Cami.
